Clean crisp bold colours of white and navy or white and black has always been resilient and staple colours in the office. But I don’t do the usual corporate suit as an Australian summer doesn’t lend itself to much comfort in a banker’s blazer, which makes getting the right balance between looking smart versus comfort versus contemporary elegance a challenge I think. I also spend a reasonable time in an air-conditioned environment so something that’s appropriate in keeping you comfortable, but not baring too much skin is essential. This is why I like the smart off the shoulder tailored top by Keepsake The Label. With the exception of long flared sleeves I would probably call it a cropped tank top. The flared sleeves adds an uptown dimension to it. As it is a cropped hemline, I matched it with a comfortable high waisted stretched fabric navy pencil skirt that sits at the knees.
Always love the fine craftsmanship of luxurious Italian leather. The Tod’s Wave Bag is the key style for Spring Summer 2016 collection. Shaped like the fluid swell of the sea, it’s design is reinforced by the curving movement of the zip that opens and closes it. ’Wave’ good bye to the summer holidays and just ‘go with the flow’.
