The Dough Collective is located at 614 George Street, Sydney, directly opposite Events Cinemas, and you can try samples of each bread dough they handcraft. I had to ensure I did not indulge on too many samples or else I would have spoiled my dinner.
I bought the ‘Sailors Special’ for the following day’s breakfast. This bread roll contains: tuna, garlic sauce, shallots, walnuts, onions, black pepper and cream cheese. Each content is subtle so not overpowering but aromatic, emanating a nice herbal like flavour. There are about 60 different types of artisan rolls you can get.
The Dough Collective passion is to make the perfect bread and they succeed in this. The softness, taste and smell of each handcrafted bread roll will leave you craving for more. It takes time, 9 days exactly for them to make the perfect dough for you. Sweet or savoury, the choice is yours.
